Alpha is a film series with dinner conversation that takes place over eight relaxed evenings, where people of all backgrounds can get together to explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning. No pressure. No preaching. No judgement. No charge. Just real conversations, and an awesome space to meet new friends and go on an inspiring journey.

If you’re exploring the Christian faith for the first time, athiest, agnostic, spiritual but not religious, skeptical, rethinking, or are just plain curious, Alpha is for you.

What is Alpha?

Connecting with others is what we were made for. All nights start with food and time to relax and build friendships, and create space for meaningful conversations.

Film

Alpha’s film series explores the big questions we all ask, and guests from any background can unpack the basics of faith. Bring your questions, doubts or hesitations – you’ll find you’re not alone.

Conversation

Those who attend Alpha share that their small group discussions are hands-down the best part of the experience. No questions are off limits and there’s nothing you can’t say (really).

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for people who are exploring the Christian faith for the first time, rethinking, or anyone with spiritual questions who wants to have a genuine conversation about the deeper issues of life, meaning and purpose. No matter your background, history, or beliefs. You are welcome.

What happens at Alpha?

Each Alpha night offers (free) dinner or snacks and drinks, and time of connection to build relationships, then a film exploring faith, and lastly a space for great conversation about the content of the film. In that discussion, you can share what you think—as much or as little as you want—and nothing is off limits.

When & where is Alpha?

Alpha launch night is coming first week of January in downtown, north and south Austin.
